We were thrilled to host our Sporting Champions Mentoring and Awards Day again for 2024 on October 30th at Porchester Hall, Porchester Rd, London W2 5HS. Thank you to everyone who joined us for a fantastic day!
Sporting Champions Mentoring Day
To start the day, our Elite athletes and industry professionals hosted four mentoring sessions, including:
- Balancing life, work and school whilst competing with Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and Maisie Summers-Newton
- Goal setting with Sports Psychologist Thomas Cunningham-Fahie, Lauren Steadman and Lutalo Muhammad
- Strength and conditioning with Richard Kilty and Paul Dudley from Keiser
- Nutrition with Colin Jackson and celebrity chef, Chris Baber
Sporting Champions Awards
Following on from the mentoring sessions, we hosted our annual Sporting Champions awards ceremony for 2024, which recognises the sporting excellence of our athletes over the past 12 months.

Camilla Cresswell – Social Media Champion of the Year
Elizabeth Cromwell – Community Champion of the Year
William Ellard – Outstanding Achievement of the Year
Middlesbrough Sports Village and Moulton Leisure Centre – Everyone Active Sites of the Year
Westminster City Council – Local Authority Partner of the Year
